We then prepare a practical one-day sourcing route and support your team on site, helping you compare the details that affect fit, quality, customization, quotation and delivery.

When you confirm a furniture order through Sophiakey, a project service fee of 5% of the confirmed product order value applies. This is not a fee for simply introducing factories. It funds the China-side team that turns your approved selections into a managed cross-border project—from specification confirmation and supplier coordination to production follow-up, quality control, shipment coordination and after-sales communication after delivery.

Our direct factory relationships and substantial purchasing volume in China give us strong negotiating power and access to highly competitive factory-direct pricing. Even after the 5% project service fee, clients can often achieve a substantially lower overall purchasing cost than buying comparable furniture through local retail or imported-furniture channels. Depending on the market, specifications, quantities and local markups, some projects may save around 50% or more. Actual savings vary by project and are assessed against genuinely comparable products, quality and delivery scope.

The 5% project service fee is calculated on the confirmed furniture product order value unless otherwise agreed in writing. Furniture payments, samples, supplier deposits, freight, insurance, customs duties, taxes, installation and other third-party charges are separate. Any credit of a package or reservation fee toward the 5% project service fee will be stated in the written procurement agreement.

6.Review key selections, open questions and the recommended next procurement step.

7.If you proceed with the furniture order, sign the procurement agreement. The 5% project service fee then covers full-process quotation, order, production, agreed quality-control, shipping and after-sales coordination for the confirmed scope.

The route normally covers approximately 3–5 suppliers. The exact number is not guaranteed because travel time, product complexity and the time required for decisions vary. The standard service day is approximately 8 hours. Overtime, extra days, out-of-area travel or special arrangements require prior confirmation and may incur additional fees.

Furniture, samples, supplier deposits, flights, visas, hotel rooms, meals, personal travel, intercity transport, freight, duties, taxes, installation and third-party testing are not included unless expressly stated in writing. Local transport arrangements for the confirmed route must be specified in the booking confirmation.

Once project preparation has begun or the service date and route have been reserved, the fee is generally non-refundable. Any credit toward a later procurement service, minimum order value, validity period or additional fee must be confirmed in writing.

Why has the service price changed from USD 188 to USD 288?
The updated service reflects the work completed before and during the visit: project review, room and category planning, supplier research, route preparation and approximately eight hours of on-site decision support. The service is positioned as a prepared project-sourcing day, not basic accompaniment.

Can I visit more than five suppliers?
Possibly. Extra suppliers or another day can be quoted after we review the categories and route. More stops do not always mean better decisions.

Is transportation included?
The confirmed local route arrangement will be stated in your booking confirmation. Airport transfers, intercity travel, premium vehicle upgrades and personal trips are excluded unless written.

Yes. We work directly with furniture factories and manage substantial purchasing volume in China, which gives us strong negotiating power and access to highly competitive factory-direct pricing. We compare suitable suppliers and negotiate based on your confirmed specifications, materials, quantities, customization requirements and payment terms to help you secure the best available price without compromising quality.

What happens after the visit?
Ongoing order, production, agreed inspection, shipping and after-sales coordination are provided under the 5% project service fee and the applicable procurement agreement.
